Website terms of use

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this landing page and any page linked from it under the lp.locketttreesurgery.uk domain (the "site"), operated by Lockett Tree Surgery Ltd, Podimore, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8JE ("Lockett Tree Surgery", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. Use of this site

This site is provided to give information about our tree surgery and arboriculture services in Somerset and the South West, and to let you request a quote. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, misleading or malicious information through the quote form, including automated or bulk submissions.

3. Quotes are indicative until a site visit

Any price, price range or guide figure shown on this site is indicative only. It is based on typical jobs of that type and is not a binding quotation. A firm price is only given after we, or one of our qualified team, have assessed the specific site, access, tree condition and any applicable Tree Preservation Order or conservation area constraints in person. Actual costs may differ from any figure shown here.

4. No contract is formed by submitting the form

Submitting the enquiry form on this site is a request for us to contact you about a possible quote. It does not create a contract between you and Lockett Tree Surgery, and neither party is bound to proceed. A contract for work is only formed once we have provided a quotation for a specific job and you have accepted it.

5. Intellectual property

The text, images, layout and design of this site belong to Lockett Tree Surgery Ltd or are used under licence, unless stated otherwise. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of this site for commercial purposes without our written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, current or error free. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from any reliance placed on indicative pricing shown here before a site visit has taken place.

7. Links to other sites

This site links to our main website at locketttreesurgery.com and may link to third party services such as our social media pages. We are not responsible for the content of external sites we link to.
